施瓦茨基金会:寻求一条理解大脑与心智关系的路径。
施瓦兹基金会的任务是探索物理,数学和计算机工程原理到神经科学,已更好的理解大脑与心智的关系。
施瓦兹基金会的战略意图是从物理,数学,电机工程和计算机科学中提炼脑科学的研究方法,更好的理解21实际最前沿的科学-人脑与心智的关系。

“Dr. Rall’s work has profoundly shaped the field of neuroscience and helped spark entire new subfields,” said Eve Marder, PhD, president of SfN. “His work in computational neuroscience has had an enormous impact and continuing influence on the field for more than 50 years.”

“Dr. Barlow has been a pioneer in theoretical neuroscience and his contributions have provided a key foundation for today’s researchers,” said Thomas J. Carew, PhD, president of SfN. “We are pleased to be recognizing this prolific scientist.”

“For more than 20 years, Dr. Abbott has made seminal contributions and has advanced the importance of theoretical work to the entire neuroscience field,” said Michael E. Goldberg, MD, president of SfN. “We are pleased to be recognizing this exceptional scientist and look forward to his continued success in the field.”

“The Society is pleased to recognize the exceptional contributions of Dr. Sompolinsky to the field of theoretical neuroscience,” said Susan G. Amara, PhD, president of SfN. “His work, blending physics and neuroscience, has established innovative methods and set rigorous standards for advancing the field.”
